Sunny Night Productions is an independent film company based in the Bay Area, founded by writer and director Senait Mengstab-Brown.

The work is grounded in stories that explore identity, culture, and the quiet tension between who we are and who we are expected to be. Drawing from Eritrean heritage and lived experience, the films center intimate moments where performance, self-perception, and cultural inheritance intersect.

The approach moves between narrative and documentary, with a focus on restrained visual language and emotionally precise storytelling. The work favors presence over explanation, allowing images, silence, and gesture to carry meaning.
